Yikes! It's Ike! – Hurricane Ike Update
At 2 a.m., Hurricane Ike was located 10 miles southeast of Galveston and 60 miles southeast of Port Arthur, Texas. Ike officially made landfall in Galveston, Texas at 2:10 a.m. CDT. as a Category 2 on the Saffir-Simpson Scale with winds around 110 mph.
