Duty Highlights
- Serve as the lead strategist for the chapter’s digital engagement effort.
- Spearhead initiatives that build the Red Cross brand. Lead the development of marketing strategy and the creation, editing and finalization of collateral materials.
- Enforce and maintain Red Cross brand standards across the chapter’s jurisdiction.
- Recruit, lead and train the social media volunteer team to ensure a quality and timely product is delivered. Engage other staff and volunteers to join the conversation.
- Serve as the direct supervisor of the Social Media Volunteer Supervisor as well as indirect supervisor of Social Media team.
- Monitor and comment on trends in social media applications, acting as the Red Cross spokesperson within these communities.
- Develop social engagement goals, strategies, and measurements.
- Prepare Web site statistics and social engagement metrics reports for management.
